Samuel Davis, Esq
President and Founder
Sam Is a board certified civil trial lawyer. He has worked with burn survivors with serious injuries for over thirty years. He has also developed innovative techniques for demonstrating the cause and origin of fires caused by defective products. Sam has also done extensive research on the medical, surgical and psychological implications of burns injuries. As a Senior lecturer to the Department of Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian and the American College of Trial Advocacy, Sam draws from his connections to the legal and medical world in order to help burn civilian and military burn survivors. Sam enjoys spending his time volunteering at burn camps and developing growth strategies so they may serve greater numbers of burned children.

Detective Calvin Hart
Burned Veteran Rally Co-Chair
Detective Hart is a highly decorated marine having received the Purple Hart award three times during the Vietnam War. Calvin is a veteran homicide detective who devotes much of his free time to keeping kids out of trouble. He is a motivational speaker.  His life and achievements have been the inspiration for several characters in major motion pictures.

Mike Drumgoole
Burned Veteran Rally Co-Chair
Mike is a medical practice consultant and combat veteran of the U.S. Army who served from 1966 to 1968. Mike devotes much of his spare time to helping combat wounded veterans. He has mentored catastrophically injured Iraq War soldiers and has led efforts to build housing for paralyzed Iraq War Marines. A leader in combat and volunteerism, Mike’s current projects center around helping Iraq War burn survivors by getting them the finest medical treatment and prompt disability benefits.

Hani Manosur M.D

Dr. Hani Mansour Is director of burn unit at St. Barnabus Hospital, New Jersey’s leading burn-care facility.  Dr. Mansour attained the rank of major in the United States Army and served as staff surgeon at the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research Burn Unit at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas from 1979-1981 and later as chief of the Burn Study Branch at Brooke Army Medical Center.Dr. Mansour is certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and surgical critical care. He has additional certification as an instructor in Advanced Burn Life Support from the American Burn Association. Dr. Mansour is a researcher and author of numerous articles and continuing education videos for medical professionals. He has dedicated his professional career to saving lives and restoring the quality of life to burn survivors.

Sampson Davis, M.D.

Dr. Sampson Davis was born into a fatherless home in a rough neighborhood of Newark, New Jersey, on January 19, 1973. He was the fifth of six children, and after graduating from University High, a magnet school in Newark, he went on to attend Seton Hall University. He had a difficult childhood in a rough neighborhood in Newark but was able to overcome tremendous odds to achieve his dreams in the medical field.  Today he is an attending Emergency  room  physician at Rahway Hospital in Rahway, NJ. Samson gives back to his community by touring the country, sharing his motivational story and speaking to youths about the opportunities available to them other than gangs. He, along with two other close childhood friends who also became doctors, authored the book The Pact: Three Young Men Make A Promise and Fulfill A Dream, which spent six weeks on the New York Times bestseller list. Davis is also a co-founder of the Three Doctors Foundation, which brings health education and mentoring to inner-city youth. And has been featured in  People, Reader's Digest and The Oprah Winfrey Show.

 Keri Ann Malo
Burn Survivor, Volunteer, Aspiring Chef
Keri Ann was just a 6-year-old girl when a devastating fire ripped through her family's home, leaving her with burns over more than half her body and killing her brother, mother, and eventually her father.

Keri Ann suffered burns to 52 percent of her body and underwent 21 surgeries. Keri Ann has generously donated a portion of their settlement towards Burn Advocates Network in their project to help young burn survivors have meaningful and fun summer experiences at burn camp. This summer, KeriAnn will be putting her culinary talents to good use as a volunteer at burn camp. KeriAnn looks forward to educating other children about fire safety and how to prevent others from experiencing the painful injuries she has  endured.
